There is always something going on related to music at Christ’s Episcopal Church. Whether you want to recharge at an Evensong event, attend a piano concert, join the House Band or the Musicmakers, or just amplify your spiritual experience at a Sunday service , if you love music, you will feel at home here. 2009-2010 Concert and Musical Event Series at Christ's Episcopal Church
Saturday, November 21 @ 7:00 pm - Western Academy of Music and Musicmakers (tickets $15 adults, $8 students and seniors)
Advanced String Orchestra, including our own Trevor on Cello.
Saturday, December 5 @ 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 6, 3:00 pm - Joint Choir Messiah performance, hosted at Faith Lutheran Church Castle Rock
Area church choirs will be able to perform one or two pieces of their own, and then join in a Mass Choir presentation of the Christmas Messiah, with professional soloists and string accompaniment.
Sunday, December 13 @ 7:00 pm - Lessons and Carols (no charge)
Thursday, Dec 24 @ 10:00 pm - Musicmakers Christmas Concert; Midnight Mass follows at 10:30
No charge for the concert, but an offering will be taken during the Mass that follows the concert, and proceeds from that go to Christ’s Church general fund.

Saturday, February 6, 2010 @ 7:30 pm - St. Martin’s Choir “Deconstructing Bach” ($15 for General Admission, $5 for students)
2010 is the 325th
anniversary of Bach’s birth, Twelve classical singers Ticket proceeds go to St. Martin’s Choir, who then pays Christ’s Church Music Department a set fee.
Tuesday, February 16, 2010 - Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras Celebration Event
Come and celebrate with us at this “last party before Lent”–we promise good music, good food, and lots of fun.
Friday, April 23, 2010, @7:30 pm - Nebraska Wesleyan University Jazz Choir
Under the direction of Boyd Bacon. Free and open to the public; a free will offering will be taken to help defray the choir’s travel expenses.
Saturday, May 1, 2010 @ 7:00 pm - Douglas County Youth Orchestra Concert Cheryl Poules, music director

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - An Evening with Don Lewis, Renowned Jazz Keyboard Artist (tickets $15 adults, $8 students and seniors)
