House Band

Mankind has always recognized that music amplifies worship and brings us closer in our communion with God. Beethoven said that “Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life,” and Hans Christian Anderson noted that, “Where words fail, music speaks.” At Christ’s Church, music heightens the joy we feel when we are close to the Divine.
We currently play a variety of instruments - piano, guitar, drums, and some strings. We practice on Wednesday nights under the guidance of our music director Kathy Mordeaux , an accomplished pianist and composer. We play at the 10:30 service almost every Sunday and at special events throughout the year.
