Programs for children in sixth through eighth grade

This fall, middle schoolers (grades 6-8) will have an opportunity to engage in a fresh, interactive, interconnected program. Our curriculum, called “Grapple” engages students by playing fun games, asking real-life questions, diving into the Bible, watching thought-provoking videos, and staying connected throughout the week by logging onto a safe, secure online community of their own.
We will be meeting in the Library space 9:15 Sunday mornings, which we will make our own, including choosing a new name. The leaders for this group are Steve Mitchell, L.P.C., who taught for 13 years and has myriad life experiences that he brings to this teaching role. Ann Fleming holds a degree in Psychology and has two children in or entering the wonderful world of adolescence.
