Programs for high school youth - 9:15 am Sundays
Christ's Episcopal Church's high school youth group is looking forward to some exciting developments in the 2009-2010 education year. We will be incorporating monthly Bible study, topical study, outreach and group building into our plans.
Our Bible study will use the Book of Common Prayer to explore the question, "What am I Called to Be?" Our topical study each month will look into understanding other major religions. In addition, the high school students will join with the middle schoolers for once a month outside church activities, such as rock wall climbing, camping, lock-ins, and community service.
Our older high schoolers will lead the rest of the group throughout the year in the development of a service project of their choosing. The high schoolers will present their outreach project to members of the church during a coffee hour at the end of the education year.
Phil and Jane Jordan and Joan Gandy continue to provide leadership to this group and the program continues to grow.
