Children’s Chapel

10:30 worship service each Sunday for children in pre-school - fifth grade
Our popular Children’s Chapel Program is offered year ‘round during the Festive Mass. At the beginning of the service, children are invited to the historic Chapel where they participate in their own learning of the Bible. Some of the older children like to help lead by reading and discussing the lesson or by facilitating a fun project for the younger children. Once the sermon is finished, the children return and join their parents and the congregation in time for the Passing of the Peace.
The lesson is taught from the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum (www.Spiritseasons.com). It is facilitated and led by members of the church. The leaders are trained and certified in child safety classes and follow guidelines which require two or more adults to supervise the children at all times. Parents are always welcome to visit, learn more about the program, and talk with the leaders.
The Chapel Program staff also host fun events through the year, including the Easter Egg Hunt and the Christmas Play.
We also have our monthly Story Workshop where the children will play games, make projects, and have an informal ‘Sunday’ school – just not on Sunday. We welcome you to participate in the activities and visit with other parents.
