Saturday Evensong and Pipe Organ Concert, April 19 at 5:00 p.m.

There is something timeless and restorative about the combination of candlelit worship, organ music, and evening worship in an old chapel. It shortens the connection to God’s unconditional love, brings back memories of our childish trust in the Divine, and merges a simultaneous nostalgic connection with a peaceful close to the current day.

Please participate in this timeless tradition on Saturday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m. in our historic stone Chapel at Christ’s Episcopal Church. We will provide a traditional Choral Evensong, followed by a half-hour celebration of some of the best in pipe organ music, including the famous Bach D minor Toccata and Fugue. Those in the Catholic and Lutheran communities will find some similarities to Vespers, particularly since it originated by uniting the offices of Vespers and Compline. So, please join us for this respite from the bustle of the day-to-day --- and recharge, relax and reconnect.
