Here at Christ’s Church, we are a rapidly growing community of seekers in historic Castle Rock, 25 miles outside of Denver. In January, 2008, 840 people came to worship at Christ’s Episcopal Church. In January of 2007, we were host to 644. So, we have happily welcomed 30% more to worship than a scant year ago.
Why is our church growing so fast? We believe that we grow because we are a friendly group, our services are thought-provoking, our music is engaging, and our welcome is unconditional. The services are both traditional and contemporary, so you will find the familiar reverently and comfortably mixed with the new.
Here, we do not just go through the motions of weekly worship. Instead, we seek to live into the fullness of God’s unconditional love and embody that love in our daily lives. Many of us come to worship and find friendship as well,. So, we find kindred souls with whom to worship, study, serve, and play. Most of us also find tremendous value -- and help each other to set time aside for -- solitude. We rejoice with each other in times of celebration and support one another in times of need. We seek to deepen our understanding -- and improve our practice of -- Christ's teachings. We particularly welcome both rousing debates and contemplative discussion as we explore the mystery of the Divine.
