About Us

Christ's Episcopal Church welcomes everyone into the transformational power of God's unconditional love. Now entering the second century of our journey of faith, we offer a rich array of services, both traditional and contemporary, in our 100-year-old chapel and our new sanctuary. We are located at 615 Fourth Street, between Cantril and Lewis, in historic Castle Rock, Colorado.

At Christ's Church, we are a friendly, welcoming congregation that seeks to find and amplify the divine in each of us. We worship together, study together, pray together and play together. Most of us also find tremendous value, and help each other to set time aside for, solitude. We rejoice with each other in times of celebration and support one another in times of need. We seek to deepen our understanding -- and improve our practice of -- Christ's teachings. We particularly welcome both rousing debates and contemplative discussion as we explore the mystery of the Divine.

We've recently gone through a discernment process in which volunteers in our congregation, led by our vestry, spent time in prayer and discussion to understand what God is calling us to do at Christ's Church. Based on this discernment exercise, we have developed a strategic plan goals and objectives for the next several years based on our agreed-to mission, vision and core values. It is an exciting time to be at Christ's Church as we grow into the great things we are called to do - including expanding our inter-generational community, finding more and better ways to develop our gifts and talents into servant ministries; and expanding our outreach efforts in Castle Rock, Douglas County and beyond.
